An agitator spins the laundry using fins fixed to a pole in the middle of the drum. On the other hand, an impeller thrusts water from the bottom of the drum. This type of loader is cheaper compare to the front load washer.

  • The control system consists of the control boards, load size selector (pressure switch), the water temperature selector, timer, and the lid/locking switch.
  • The mechanical system is composed of the motor, transmission, clutch, inner and outer wash tubs, agitator, pumps, water valve, suspension system, and a belt or motor coupling.

  • Select the wash mode: Select the wash cycle according to your fabric care labels. There are special cycles, delicate cycle, Permanent press, Normal Cycle.
  • Set the water temperature.
  • Add your laundry detergent: This is to be placed first into the empty drum, close to the water source to dissolve right at the beginning of the wash. This is in a case of washer without detergent dispenser.
