With the increasing demand for large-screen TVs, many companies have begun to push large-screen TVs. Xiaomi added a new flagship smart TV to its Mi TV 4S lineup in its home market, China. This newly launched TV is the biggest TV to come from the company. The China based manufacturer has had a lot of success with its Mi TV lineup. These television sets are slim, use A+ grade LED panels, include smart features, and won’t leave a hole in your wallet. Until now, Xiaomi’s largest TV came with a 65-inch 4K LED panel. However, its latest smart TV has an even larger 75-inch 4K LED panel and comes with plenty of features to provide an amazing home theatre experience.
With respect to design, the Xiaomi Mi TV 4S comes with a slim design profile with a full-metal unibody design, offering a premium look and feel compared to the other smart-televisions with a similar price tag. The body is built using aviation-grade aluminum and are quite premium to look at. The TV comes in a silver-grey metallic color and has the coating resembles brushed metal. The thin bezels across the screen will offer higher screen to body ratio, offering an un-interrupted smart-television experience. Overall, it’s a premium-looking product.
This Xiaomi’s Mi TV 4S 75-inch TV is a true 4K LCD TV with Ultra high-resolution display and also supports HDR, which means that the colors are more vivid. The narrow bezels to give users immersive viewing experience.
The Xiaomi Mi TV 4S is powered by an AmLogic quad-core 64-bit chipset processor based on the A-53 architecture with 2 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage, which can be used to store apps, photos and other files. It also features plenty of connectivity such as Wi-Fi, DLNA, and Bluetooth.
In order to meet the needs of today’s users, the 75-inch Xiaomi TV 4S is also equipped with the PatchWall artificial intelligence voice system, which can achieve accurate content push according to user preferences. More importantly, it has built-in small love classmates, combined with the massive intelligent hardware products owned by the Xiaomi IOT eco-chain, making Xiaomi TV an entry point for smart home life.
The TV also has support for DTS-HD and Dolby Audio to provide an immersive audiovisual entertainment experience for the viewers. It has dual 8W dolby speakers that provide stereo sound. Xiaomi has used its own custom UI for the TV, which is called PatchWall. The UI also offers easy access to more than 500,000+ hours of content and recommends online and offline content depending on the users’ TV-watching behaviour.
With PatchWall, you can access all your apps, shows, and movies from one place. You can install Android apps on the TV via the provided store. The Mi TV 4S also has a built-in voice assistant that can be activated via the provided remote. The remote features a mic which is enabled with the press of a dedicated button. The features on the 75-inch version is pretty much similar to the one found on the 65-inch variant.
As for the price, the Mi TV 4S 75-inch costs Rs 82,200 (₦420,860.). It will go for sale in China starting November 23rd onwards via Xiaomi Mall and Mi Home Stores. Xiaomi is yet to confirm if and when it’s planning to bring its Mi TV 4S-series to other countries but its is expected soon or not.
